Operation Adopt a Ghost began in March of 2008 when my son was deployed. What began as taking care of four of his fellow soldiers who got nothing from home, ended up as a battalion adoption of 189 National Guardsmen from Utah and New Jersey.

This one year project turned into a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization with no end in sight. Now we support Utah soldiers, and those with Utah ties, in all branches of the service.

Operation Adopt a Ghost has ships over 1000 packages (about 4 tons) per year for a support roster of 1200 - 1600 deployed soldiers.

We work with businesses, church groups, schools, scouts, families, and individuals to provide material and moral support, sending letters, deployment packages, individual care packages, special shipments, and supply unusual requests from the front when possible. We also work with the USO as well as providing Soldier Santa support here at home for families of deployed soldiers in need.
